LA MAISON DE L’AQUEDUC

Drawing-installation. Image revealed through light projection. Demolition debris found in the Parco degli Acquedotti in Rome, glass plate 30 × 40 cm, flashlight, 2025.

Sketched on a glass plate, the image of a dwelling is revealed like a cast shadow. The artist draws using rubble found near the ruins of an aqueduct on the outskirts of Rome, in order to visually reconstruct the memory of houses built in the 1950s against the walls of ancient monuments, whose traces—ceramic tiles, fragments of marble, bricks—remain among debris from different periods.
