Mixed media drawings on paper, variable dimensions, 2016-2018.

Drawing has always been for me the main tool for incorporating and understanding reality. In 2016, blocked in front of the blank page and overwhelmed by an excessive bombardment of images, I began composing drawings using visual stimuli I created myself (paint stains, thread movements, impressions of various textures, and so on) with the intention of releasing rational overcontrol, letting myself be guided through composition, and seeking a sense of personal identity. It was at that moment that I discovered the potential of the trace as a generator of images laden with symbolism.
